Chapecó is recognized internationally for being the largest agro-industrial park in Latin America for poultry and pork production. Those products are exported to several countries.
Chapecó counts on innumerable natural and cultural attractions, mainly
caverns, the "Explorer" monument, the Saint Anthony's Cathedral, The
Antonio Selistre de Campos City Museum and the Native Culture House.

The city offers diversified lodging facilities besides a varied commerce and
a rich variety of restaurants. Beautiful landscapes, mountains and rivers surround
this friendly city.
With a population of 153,918 inhabitants, and located at the junction of several federal and state highways, Chapecó is easily reached from anywhere. Close to river Uruguay, there are archeological sites. Chapecó is geographically privileged for international trade through the borders.
